DK Choudhary’s team bags Bihar bridge title

Patna, November 14, 2011: Dr DK Choudhary’s team clinched the Bihar state bridge championships title beating MMP Sinha’s team by 21 points at the New Patna Club here on Sunday.

Choudhary’s team gathered 48 points while Sinha’s team got 27 points.

In the pairs’ event, the pair of S Bannerjee and VP Divar got 376 points to take the top position. The pair of G Bannerjee and J Sarkar was adjudged runner-up with 374 points.

In progressive team event G Bannerjee’s team won the first position with 123 points while DK Choudhary’s team finished second with 120 points. Bardhaman’s team captured the third palce with 117 points.

Bihar Bridge Association president Amitabh Verma gave away the prizes.
