Bihar cadet and sub-junior table tennis teams leave for Kochi

December 4, 2011: A 13-member Bihar team including a coach and a manager left Patna for Kochi(Kerala) to take part in the 73rd Cadet & Sub-Junior National and Inter State Table Tennis Championship beginning from December 8 to 13. Tushar Kanti of Patna and Riyanshi Gupta of Madhepura will lead the boys and girls teams respectively.

Releasing the list of the players, Mukesh Roy, secretary, Bihar Table Tennis Association said that the teams were selected on the basis of performance in recently concluded Ranking and State table tennis championships.

Earlier in the small function organised at the Bihar Young Men's Institute, Rajiv Kumar, SSA, IOCL donated track suits to the players. On the occasion Professor Sanjay Kumar of NIT and Dheeraj Kumar, Sales Officer, IOCL were also present.

Cadet boys: Rohit Kumar,Master Shivam and Ayush Anand.Cadet

Girls: Riyanshi Gupta,Vijay Laxmi and Riya Kumari.

Sub-Junior boys: Tushar Kanti (captain), Gagan Nir, Amit Kumar and Aditya Umang.
